Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel

Staff are very friendly and helpful.nnI had a junior suite, which for one person is too large, but i won't complain. Room was very modern, all amenities. My one complaint would be that the Air con was alot more noist than most other hotels i have stayed in, but this could have been due to the openess of the room.nnHotel premises are very nice, with great pool area and private beach.nnThe Restaurant down by the sea, which specializes in sea food was great. Good quality food and good staff/waiters.nnThe lounge area outside was also very cool, live music in the evenings overlooking the red sea, and if you are into shisha, you can smoke that too.nnOverall a nice hotel, and from this experience will consider as best

Renaissance Hotel Powai in Covid times is accommodating their guests in Mariott Lakeside chalet apartments. Reception services, hygiene, safety precautions, etc are all in place. The property is serene and has great view of lakes and greens. Shout out to Ms Barkha Kewalramani (front office manager) and Mr Ashwin (room director) for being hospitable, warm n friendly in these testing times. Enjoyed our stay.Keep up the good work

We had an one night stay. Expected safety and good services. Yes services was more pleasing than expected. Food was wonderful and since we were in all inclusive package we had no limitations with food. Staff was courteous and kind.nBut safety was a concern. Well to begin with, as we enter the hotel there were staff (2 ladies if not mistaken) to check our temperatures and provide us with the sanitizer. But as I walk through the door those ladies are busy talking among themselves until I call one of them and ask them to give me the sanitizer. I was a bit taken back on this. When we entered the hotel there were few functions being organized and a see a lot of people around and let me tell you there were just a handful guest with mask rest all means all were without the mask (imagine a hundred of them around you and without the mask). On asking the receptionist is that allowed he mentioned no we follow government rule of mask mandatory in the hotel thus asked him what is this to which he had no response. I did not see even a single staff make an attempt to ask any of those guest to wear a mask.nWhen we went down for dinner at the Lake View Cafe I again see no guest wearing a mask not only inside the cafe but even around the cafe and no staff attempting to ask any guest to do so. So when have to eat our buffet we have all guest moving without the mask around the buffet set up.nWe avoided to go down as much as possible but dinner and breakfast was mandatory down hence had to.nFor some this may not be an issue but for us this was.

Loved the food stay and everything. Have been here for a lot of times and recommend it for a good lakeside view dinner and amazing staff.nnMorning walks are best inside the hotel with fabulous view and breakfast

Only big problem in the Hotel was Air conditioning in the room, even on temperature 21 deg, u feel it's 25 deg which was a horrible experience. Staff is very polite, Food at the Lake view cafe is excellent, breakfast is good too. During check in I was given the room in the apartment building which was a 3* not a 5 * which I had booked.But later on they shifted me to the room in hotel.
