Bhaaku wala mandir is one of the oldest temples in shamli.It is about 200 years old.It is built on a high plenth(Tilla).Initially there was a pond,where tel. Exchange is situated nowadays.There were 15 steps of 18 inch height to reach to pond.The main temple is of lord shiva. Initially there was a shivalaya. There was only one entrance/exit of 4 feet height .The shivalaya was made of Lakhori bricks, which were used in mughal period. The pond was about 10-15 ft deep and temple end of pond was very quiet and spiritual. There was a huge peepal tree and a thick/wide wall extending into pond with hexagonal flat chair type structure. Nowadays the temple has been renovated.
