Kolhapur - Ganpatipule TournnWe a team of 8 pax, all senior citizens, had booked above personlised tour through Mr. Kaushal Shah, propritor of Ananya Travels & Services, based in Kolhapur referred by our relative. The entire programme including hotel stay, transportation through AC vehicle, suggesting an itinerary and arranging pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner was also prepared and finalised by them with our concurrence. He also suggested to include a trip to Marleshwar temple which is enroute to Ganpatipule. He had provided a driver who has a great driving skill and his out of the way manners in attending to all our requests were commendable.nnWe were picked up at Kolhapur railway station right in time at 7.25 am by our driver who was waiting for us at the station since 7.00 am. We were allowed to check into the hotel at 8.00 am though usual check in time was at 11.00 am without any additional cost. After refresh at hotel we were taken to local Mahalaxmi Mandir, Musium, Panhala Fort, Jyotiba Temple and Rankala Lake where we enjoyed boating and then troll through the shopping area. We were also taken to pure vegetarian restaurant for lunch in the afternoon and dinner in the evening and thereafter we rested at the hotel.nnEarly in the morning we checked out from the hotel for going to Marleshwar Mandir. In between we had a good breakfast at pure vegetarian restaurant as suggested by the driver. After visiting Marleshwar temple we went straight to Ganpatipule and had a darshan at Ganpatipule temple. Thereafter, we went for lunch. Since our train for Mumbai was in the night, we went to nearby sightseeing places at Ganpatipule and also at Ratnagiri. After dinner we were dropped at Ratnagiri Station from where we alighted in the night train to Mumbai.nnWe are more than happy with services rendered by Mr Kaushal Shah and his driver. Thanks.
