Just a few words about my personal experience with the Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, in my time of need. My wife of over 70 years, passed away November 16, 2020. As you would expect, I was needing help, although I had family and friends for support. Mel, with Sunset, came to the house early that morning, met me and explained what to expect. Everything was handled very professionally and with kindness to me. My nephew took me to Sunset the next day where we met with Mel. We discussed all of the details and with his kindness, got all details taken care of. I picked up the legal papers a few days later. Everyone I made contact with at Sunset Memorial, were most caring and helpful. I have had several contacts, by phone or text messages. All were checking on my well-being. Sunset was extremely helpful with every last detail regarding my mother’s funeral arrangements. I was concerned because we had services at an old family cemetery, during a pandemic, 8 hours away. They arranged everything. I totally trusted their services and they were very accommodating. These are very special people who show empathy and compassion during a stressful time.

Wonderful compassionate people. My family and I were treated with the utmost respect. Several family members have used Sunset and every time it’s been so nice to work with people that truly understand the grief.

Mark and the team and Sunset took great care of me and my family when my mother passed away in April 2020. This was a particularly difficult time because of the COVID situation but nevertheless they enabled us to celebrate my mother's life in a meaningful way that I know she would love.

Even though it was the least favorite place to go, I found Sunset to be very welcoming, friendly, and very professional. We were able to complete everything in a timely manner, and I really appreciated the service I received and all the follow up contacts from the staff at Sunset. Stuart was extremely helpful and accommodating to my requests.
