This scenic beauty is an experience for lifetime. Their is a very trajic story behind the name. This place is best for nature lovers. Picturesque landscapes stay with you forever in your memories. Lots of greenery, mostly untouched by humans and falls itself are a scene to behold. Their is a shopping center nearby as well for buying some mementos.

The beauty of nature at its best. We visited the falls during summer season of Meghalaya and hence we could trek through the river bed to the mouth of the falls. But I recommend to visit during monsoon season to experience beauty and nature at its epitome. The name has its own story that you can hear from the locals. The falls is a must visit for trekking lovers.

Truly majestic.Water falling down calmly from such a great height gives you a different kind pf peace.Don't miss this place when you visit Meghalaya.Take an umbrella with you if you visit during the rainy seasons or you can buy one there .There is a cafeteria there too.So,not just the waterfall but the overall place is awesome to hang out and chill. The place has a different view in every season, and you get to experience all the four seasons in a single day.. Nohkalikai is the best place to feel it all! Scenic here is breath taking, with clouds playing with the view..
