Mount Tiyi College was established in 1974. It is a premier institution of higher learning in the District of Wokha. It owes its birth to the farsightedness of the then leading personalities from the district who had taken this venture with sacrifice to provide higher education for the upcoming generation of the Lothas. The college with its motto “SURGE ET LUCE” – RISE AND SHINE endeavours to serve and inspire its pupils of the present generation to prosperity.
