Archaeological Museum is located near konark sun temple. There are many antiques and artefacts seen here. Good collection of history. A must visit for history lovers. The whole museum is neat and tidy. The place is calm and beautiful.

A nice place to be. Its very well maintained. You'll get to know the history of our Indian culture and ruling. You need to buy tickets to enter. A great place to take your kids to let them know there country a little bit more. Go there when you have more time as you'll have to read all the things.nTip- Don't click selfies there. Its a big no. You can also be fined.nTry to travel to Odisha in the winters.

this museum is located near the main temple.the museum gallary showcases different fallen architectural pieces and sculptures that are found during the clearance work of temple complex.it is a treasure house for historians and art lovers. it opens from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Well maintained and A great place and must visit before visiting to the Konark Temple. The museum talks about history, lots of hidden truth, unknown part about the temple and about the sculpture used in the temple. The Konark museum started in the year 1968 and maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India.

A hidden Gem - We loved our experience at this museumnThis museum has an entry fee of Rs. 10. You will find that this is worth it. Actually, I think looking back that we should have visited this museum first and then visited the Konark Sun temple. We would be armed with additional knowledge of the history and the architectural details much better in which case. Which would have enhanced our ability the appreciate the beauty of the temple more.nWe are mesmerized the way artifacts of the Konark Sun temple are presented in this museumnThank you Government of India. This is one of your achievements. Though it is truly a pity this place has not become popular as yet. Really, this place is a hidden gem. If you are interested in knowing history and architecture of the Konark Sun temple do visit this place. I assure that you will love it.
