Very informative and straightforward. The theme of the museum is focused on the lives of the Comanche people, not on the genocidal horror visited upon them by the United States government. I am exceptionally taken with the graciousness of the exhibitors.

Unfortunately there was a weather warning that cut short our visit, but seeing the works of art, learning about the Comanche Nation and their heritage, not to mention, contribution to this country while surrounded by so much talent and culture, it was breathtaking to say the least. Not much of a museum person, but this is a place I'm sure visiting next time I am in Lawton, OK.nnDon't take pictures though, that is not ok as one of the visitors proved it.

The place was interesting especially the paintings. Artist has a good concept of mixing past and present which I found very important.

I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone interested in native American culture and history or just good solid history in general. The exhibits were of very high quality and the facility and staff very pleasant. A true gem of historical and cultural significance!nI recommend leaving a donation. They offer this high quality experience freely, and we should help them keep it running and expanding.
