My grandpa was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in May 2020. He was treated by Dr. Banki. From the beginning, her professionalism and patience to go over the procedure was excellent. She took the time to answer all his questions. She was very supportive from the beginning. Dr. Banki came to his hospital room several times to check on him. My grandpa is now recovering and doing well. Our family is very thankful for Dr. Banki and her staff.

Life changing. I had a stage 4 hiatal hernia. She fixed it and I could sleep without choking every night or get pneumonia. I was able to get off all acid reduction medication. Her follow up is first rate. She and her staff were in contact to check up on me multiple times. I cannot say enough good about her and her staff. Dear Dr. Banki, My Personal Physician highly recommended you for farther my care. I was quite stressed out that I would need surgery, but I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, caring, compassionate and competent doctor. I am a physician. My wife had a surgery 1 month ago. Dr. Banki was her surgeon. Dr. Banki is an exceptional, compassionate & highly experienced surgeon. Not only she did an exceptional successful surgery but also she kept me updated & after discharge from the hospital she continued to call & check on my wife almost daily till she recovered completely & that was very compassionate despite her daily busy schedule between clinic & surgeries ( By the way she did not do all that amazing care because I am a fellow physician but that is what she does for ALL OF HER PATIENTS, ALL THE TIME!!! I am also very thankful for the memorial Hermann South East hospital staff who took care of my wife from her arrival to the hospital for surgery through the surgery & during the post operative period till she was discharged home. I am very thankful for their excellent professional care, their compassionate heart felted care & their professionalism . Thank you all for the best hospital experience ever.

There are not enough words to express the experience that my mother of 88 yrs, Helen L. and I had with Dr. Banki and her team in the care of my mother in the hospital. They are very professional, have great communication skills between them and the patient and family member. Dr. Banki was really knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable in the procedure my mother had. Her team kept me posted and answered any questions I might have had. If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very professional and efficient staff, then Dr. Banki is someone you should consider for Thoracic Surgery.
