A small rly station over Malda Town and NJP main line. Located at Malda district and famous for samsi haat on every Thursday. A lot of people use this station but indiscipline lifestyle and arrogant in mentality created problems off and on. Rly administration trying to improve the station and surrounding areas. But co-operative attitudes of local people in constructive thinking is very important and essential for the purposes. The station has enough facilities and can't say there is no facilities.

Happened to visit this Railway station after coming by bus from MALDA via Gazole. Taken train to Katihar from here. Rural part. Had simple launch in 100 rs two person.

Rail station in Samsi under Chanchal Sub-division. This station gives many facilities to the passengers. Transportation services is very good from the station. This station have one unreserved and one reserved ticket counter. Also have three tea stall for refreshments and one first class waiting room for the passengers who have first class tickets. One over bridge which connects two platforms of the station.
