Most of us who love to eat out and celebrate are going through upsetting moments during this pandemic. Even though restaurants are gradually opening, some of us are hesitating to visit eateries because of issues arising due to social distancing, bad hygiene, and unhealthy ingredients. So, you can imagine what we had to go through when we were deciding the venue for our Engagement Ceremony to be held on 5 July.nnThankfully, Vedic Village accommodated our family of nine people and booked us an entire section, Bar Gazeebo, for our event. The delicacies served to us were cooked in their hygienic kitchen that also caters to their in-house restaurant, Agnee. Let's take a look at what we were served.nn*Starters:*nChicken Malai KebabnAmritsari Fish FrynPaneer Tikka Kebabnn*Sides:*nGreen Salad with Tomato, Cucumber, and OnionnChicken Clear Soupnn*Main Course:*nMutton Biryani (Kolkata style)nChicken Butter MasalanChilli FishnMixed Hakka Noodles with Chicken, Egg, and ShrimpnAssorted Indian Breadnn*Dessert:*nBaked MihidananBrownie with Ice-cream and Chocolate SaucenHot Gulab Jamunnn*Mocktails:*nCucumber MojitonRosemary BlushnnNow, that you've taken a look at this menu, let me tell you what really impressed me that day.nn- All ingredients were fresh and food was prepared keeping our health in mind.n- The taste parameter was simply exotic with the right balance of flavours. It felt like a party was going on in my mouth.n- The staff was very helpful and they are the reason we had such a wonderful time there.n- The ambience of Vedic Village is homely that gave us time to relax in the lap of nature.n- Hygiene was top-notch.nnWe are grateful that Vedic Village accomodated us on 5 July 2020. We thank them for their impeccable hospitality.nnVedic Village is apt for the people who prefer to drive away from the City of Joy and enjoy the natural environment. This resort is perfect for destination weddings, events, or casual dining. I would surely recommend you to drop by for a relaxing day trip and plan a grand yet homely event there.nn#starwordsindia #foodblogging #destinationwedding #vedicvillage #kolkataeateries #weekendgetaways

One of the best resort in Kolkata, quite outskirts but worthy... totally for spending quality time with the loved ones. Surrounding is greenery and well maintained all aspects.nnOn cost aspects yes it expensive than normal but the service you get is great. Recommended for both couples and family.

My weekend getaway. Love the aqua homes. Privacy at its best. Aquahomes are my favourite with your personal pool and have a cook to your taste buds. Spa here is so relaxing with the games arena adding to the child in you. Just love relaxing out here with my friends.

As a whole the place is good for a weekend trip but was disappointed with the rooms , we were in a bungalow with personal attached swimming pool. There were cockroaches in the room, the sofa was dirty, in washroom the flush ,shower exhaust fan , nothing was working properly. There was only one TV and that too was not working properly. Was really disappointed, didn't thought it would be so bad. I think this bungalow had been bought by some Punjabi family and now they give it for rent ,but I think they should maintain the property more carefully and should give more importance to cleanliness and see to it that everything is working properly
