Very beautiful resort. A little secluded area though. And very expensive. Room is excellent, well lit and has a great view. Overall, happy with the place and service.nnOnly bad thing was they didn't do the wake up call. And the reception guy wasn't even apologetic. He just gave excuses. I checked out at 6.45 am. Wake up call was for 6.30. Was thinking of changing rating to 3 because of this.nnBut then the restaurant staff Praveen was so friendly and cooperative. He prepared the food early and fast after my request. Very happy with the service.

My wife and I, accompanied by another couple, drove from Kolkata to Darjeeling and stayed in Sterling Darjeeling from 14 to 17 Sep 2020. The property is huge and very well laid out with scenic surroundings. Rooms are well appointed.nnBeing the first guests after a long lockdown, we received extra special hospitality. The staff are well trained to maintain Covid-19 safety protocols. The Manager Mr. Rajesh personally ensured that our stay was most comfortable.

Been here once. Really beautiful Sterling is located in Ghoom, which is about 8 kilometres from Darjeeling. The resort is one of their better offerings, with well appointed rooms and all the amenities you will require from a 4 star property. Staffs are very friendly and rooms were very well maintained.

It's good property to be.n1. Don't go by your own car. The slope of entry takes vechiles soul. I think 4X4 is fine or vehicle which has at first gear very high RPM and low speed.n2. Food is way below expectation.. way too below...nnRest all good..

We had the mountain view suite, overlooking the Kanchenjunga. Absolutely wonderful place with great staff. 25mn away from the Darjeeling Mall by car. Highly recommended!nnNOTE: all pictures were taken from the suite balcony
