Good. Parking available for self driven cars. Biggest drawback of Elgin is that you don't get a view of the Kanchenjunga. You have to step out of the hotel, walk up to the mall to catch a glimpse of The Sleeping Buddha.

Royal stay facilities for the price paid.nExcellent location overseeing the lower part of darjeeling. Also near to the chowrasta and mall road.nThe premium room is no less than a king/queen's suite. Wood and Plush carpeted floor. Excellent amenities and warm service.nStay here feels like a proper British summer palace place.nBuffet breakfast is also very good which doesn't overpower your tastebuds. Just perfect.nOutdoors of the resort lights up beautifully with the walkway retro lamp setting. Sit out with your loved one in the bench swing at night for a beautiful view.nIndoors near reception has a fireplace lit up in evening. Do try out the chess with glass pieces to spend sometime in the royal museum like halls.nOverall an excellent experience to be savoured at least once in your lifetime

Its an Absolute Retreat. Great Ambiance, Great Experience.nnOnly one suggestion, Food Menu should be more elaborate. And Breakfast should have Chicken.nnAnd lastly, Casper is Love. Such a Lovely Doggo.nBut, I feel casper should be kept in a better room, where he will get some better heat and comfort, as there is no point keeping a pet but not providing the exact nurturing to him .
