One of the oldest footballing clubs in India and whole of Asia, East Bengal Club is a prestigious institution on its own rights. From winning several domestic trophies to becoming champions in international tournaments the club has come a long way in its journey to complete a 100 years that started in 1920. The club has a rare honour of being bestowed with the duty to represent India in a foreign tour to Europe by the President of India. Kolkata being the football mecca of India would be incomplete without the Red and Gold banners of East Bengal Club. The club boasts of its infrastructure from worldclass gymnasium to building a thriving youth system as its supply line. It also has a strong women football team.

One of the most popular football ground in kolkata. This year this football club is celebrating centenary.

We need a new world class stadium! It currently does not even hold up to ISL standards resulting in us having to play matches at VYBK(Salt Lake Stadium). If we ever want to do well in AFC Champions League or AFC Cup we need to support our team with a good stadium atmosphere.
