Considered as One of the best Medical College in Eastern India. It is the oldest medical college in India. As a student I can say that this institution is in top of the class in every aspect. Faculty is too good here. Teachers are extremely friendly but also act like our own guardian. Some great doctors are associated with this institution as teachers and students both. Cantyn of the hospital is quiet good and quality of food is good. Loved my college days !!

Doctors are very good. Cleanliness is the main problem according to my point of view. Otherwise service is very good.

The school was established i by Lord William Bentinck in 1835 as Medical College, Bengal during British Rulers.nIt is the second oldest medical college to teach Western medicine in Asia after Ecole de Médicine de Pondichéry and the first to teach in the English language. The hospital associated with the college is the largest hospital in West Bengal. The college offers a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) after five and a half years of medical training, among other qualifications.

Doctor nurses and all other staff are very careless. I take my father to KMCH on 4October 2020 as he had a breathing problem. My father condition was bit serious. When I take him to this hospital they are bzy doing paper work without start my father treatment. My father was in ambulance for 30 min. Moreover while admitting they assurace us if require they will arrange ventilation for my father. However after put my father in covid ward they have not bother to update the patient condition to the patient party. We repeatedly call the hospital call central no but no one giving us any information at around 9.30 pm we again call there call center no at that time they informed me my father expired at 4.05 pm. Hospital authority have not border to informed me about my father death. Even they have not start the treatment of my father. I admit my father at 1.30 pm and as per there record my father expire at 4.05pm.. very poor treatment and poor management.Government should band the hospital immediately.otherwise due to there neglected many pacient will die like my father.
