Lovely place. Beautiful location in between a jungle & beside a scenic river.

Superb place to visit for 1day. Very peaceful atmosphere. Obviously for nature lover.

Kanak durga mandir is a must see if you are visiting jhargram. Legend says that there used to be human sacrifices. Paid parking is available before entering the temple compound. There is no problem of touts unlike other temples, who will try to push you to buy an offering for the deity. The path which takes you towards the temple is very beautiful with nature's blessings. Also, there is a small river at the end, with few boulders like island, wheren you can sit and spend some time. Very beautiful and relaxing overall. Adding some pictures. Please have a look at them.
