In the middle of the city opposite to new iconic swami vivekanand sarovar shyam talkies is one of the oldest single screen theatre in raipur chhattisgarh now a days there are very few single screen theatre in raipur chhattisgarh and shyam talkies is one of them but after the multiplex evolution Mostly they show regional chhattisgarhi movies once upon a time it was the biggest cinema hall of raipur i remember people crush each other to get a single ticket. But unfortunately it's dying maintenance is gone same old seats and environment they really need to upgrade this place to gain audience.
