Rutland Island is an island of the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Large Island in the south still not open to tourism with a few village huts. Heavy logging during British times. Exotic variety of coral but beware of crocodiles found in plenty in the fresh water streams pouring from the island. You need forest permission to visit.

A baren Island good for picnic and fishing.. you must hire a boat and if you have enough time in your hand then must visit water fall nearby.
