Recently station building rennovated. Salt produced Surrounding fields.

Small station only for passenger trains and memu trains. Connects Vijayawada, Gudur , Ongole, Tirupathi stations with this village. Too far and poor connectivity with the actual village Uppugunduru.

Poor maintenance as it was far from actual village.. Its difficult for the villagers to travel from railway station to village and vice versa as there was no continues transport facility available..
