Ship facilities is available from majuli to lakhimpur from morning 7am.

This connects Majuli Island with Lakhimpur via ferrynA lot of people are only aware of the ferry service that exists from Nimati Ghat near Jorhat with the islandnBut this one also connects Majuli with the mainland but on the northern sidenThere are no official rates mentioned here and this is being run purely on a private basis without government interventionnTime Taken is 15 to 20 minutes in the ferrynDeparture Time : this is not fixed. They are more concerned about getting the ferry occupiednSafety wise : Seema and feels unsafe don't know what is their capsizing historynThe approach road to this is extremely scenic and loved the part of driving herenGamur road to reach here is in a pretty decent shapenThere is no proper road in last 3 - 4 kms.nThanks to Google that one manages but Google also keeps losing track so best would to stop and ask people wherever you happen to see them as the route is mostly isolatednCharges for vehicle transfer is Rs 400. We did not pay for passengersnWe had a Maurti Brezza and got that vehicle uploaded from their person only

Ferry service between Majuli and Lakhimpur (vice versa). There is another ghat called Khabelu ghat that runs ferry service between the same two sides. But road to Majuli is better from Dhunaguri ghat.

Connects Majuli to Lakhimpur. Takes about 15 mins to cross the river by ferry.
