I gave birth to my son at Dr.Antonio Pinto Rosario Hospital four months ago. I had an amazing experience despite giving birth in the middle of a global pandemic. I really received exceptional care and I left the hospital with my newborn, both happy and healthy!nMy OBGYN Dr.Deepti is absolutely incredible! She spent time with me making sure that I was comfortable and also helped me with any doubts I had (during my pregnancy and also after delivery) helping me have a wonderful experience altogether. I’ll never forgot the wonderful team involved in bringing my son into this world! This hospital was started by Dr. Antonio Pinto Rosario himself. His great work was carried forward by his son Dr. Sidney Pinto Rosario and now through his granddaughter Dr. Deepti Pinto Rosario and son in law Dr. Neeraj kulkarni. Being trained in among one of the best institutions in India (CMC vellore), Dr Deepti returned to her roots to join her father in reaching her grandfather's dream of excellence in maternity care.nnOffering you nothing less than the best of care and a homely environment during maternity struggles, it has become undoubtedly one of the best and safest hospitals in Goa in the maternity sector.

We had the best birthing experience at Dr. António Pinto do Rosario Hospital. Dr Deepti and her husband Dr Neeraj, are OBGYNs who have passed out and worked in CMC Vellore, a very prestigious institution before they went and did their fellowships at Porto Portugal. When my wife and I found out they were coming back to their roots in Goa, we immediately decided to entrust our pregnancy to them. Their guidance has been amazing. They took a detailed history and made a patient book, in which everything was carefully noted. We now have a detailed record of how the pregnancy progressed, untill our baby was born. The doctors were accessible at anytime, on call for any consultation or guidance. Being first time parents with complexities this helped.nnThe hospital is the oldest in Bardez and was started by the Grandfather of Dr Deepti. There were articles of a bygone era on the walls that led me to learn a lot about the hospital and its heritage. I'm big into that stuff! We have seen a constant change for the better at the hospital. A total transformation, with state of the art equipment. The rooms have been upgraded and so has the ward. Nice clean renovated bathrooms and aircon in the rooms made our stay comfortable. The constant work and upgraded facilities in the hospital made us believe it was the right choice, and so it turned out. Everything was available under one roof. We could get our Hematology tests and reports as well as other tests done in their in house lab. They also have their own USG scan room that allowed to do the scan there itself. This helped specially during this Covid-19 pandemic time as we could avoid going elsewhere and getting exposed to the virus. We have seen this evolve rapidly.nnWe opted for Epidural anaesthesia, the anesthesiologist Dr Nimisha Dukle had a consultation with us and took history and explained all the details. We felt safe in thier hands. Many practitioners don't tell you what is happening or what is going to be done, knowing these details made us feel had a well monitored Normal delivery handled brilliantly by the doctors. Dr Sidney came to do his rounds and was very helpful. The labour room and OT are adjacent so incase of any complications the OT is ready at all times. Thankfully in our case this was not necessary.nnThe staff are courteous and caring and helpful. Thank you for bringing our pride and joy into this world safely and for all the follow up and assistance and post natal consultations.nnThese specialist in women and child health care come highly recommended.

Despite my due date being October 27, 2019, I was admitted on October 23 due to a complication that put my baby at risk of contracting an infection. Dr Deepti Pinto Rosario calmly explained that due to the urgency of the matter, we couldn’t wait for labour to start naturally, and that it would have to be induced. It must be noted that the risk of c-sections is quite high when labour is induced. However, under the constant care and supervision of Dr Deepti and team, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl through normal delivery.nnThe entire time I was in labour (upwards of eight hours), all three doctors — Dr Deepti, her husband (and also OBGYN extraordinaire) Dr Neeraj, and her father, the legendary Dr Sidney Pinto Rosario — took turns to check in on me, constantly monitoring my contractions as well as my baby’s heart rate. Towards the end, I was lucky, in fact, to have all three of them present in the room, ready to intervene if needed.nnBeing a family-run institution, the doctors and staff are extremely involved every step of the way, which was very appreciated. We highly recommend Dr Antonio Pinto do Rosario Hospital for not just the expertise of the doctors, but also for their personal touch.
