Hello.nI moved to Joplin in 2012 and was really happy withb the church. Moving from St. Louis is was extremely excited to find a great place to worship.nThen I decided to give the church $5000 and another $1600.nTimes were good and finances was well in hand.nI was tgen diagnosed with Avascular Narcosis and had bilateral hip replacements. I had to pay for my surgeries with my own money. I went broke. I couldn't work.nI went to Elizabeth for help with a $ 200 gas bill and later with another high bill.nShe said I was no longer to ask for money or help. I quit qoing to mass cause of this ironic and selfish behavior.nI called Catholic charities and they said they would love to help but St Peters doesnt give to Catholic charities?

The pastor seemed rather bothered and talked about people could write the bishop and that he didn't care. He went on to say even though he is The keeper of the law he walked a fuzzy line ... and that if he had to spend time in the timeout chair ... so be it.

I love this Church with all my being. Father J is completely in touch with the word, and keeps it current. I learn something new everytime I am there. I feel blessed just being able to worship here. It is beautiful, and I feel the spirit of the God everytime I walk in. Everyone is so friendly, and willing to help one another. It is a wonderful community. Excellent place for feeding your spirit, and learning how to apply God's word into your daily life. 11/10.

I'm not Catholic but I go for the Knights of Columbus fish frys during Lent. You will mostlikely share a table with some other people but everyone I've met has always been pleasant and there is wonderful conversation. The fish and other food has always been good and the Knights serve it up with courtesy and smiles! I love this event when it comes around and always look forward to it!
