Existing Airport in Agra, is named as Civil Air Terminal Agra. While the proposed new Airport is under process of Supreme Court approval and Land acquisition. Hence no Official order is there for Existing Airport to be Named as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Airport.

BJP promised in their election agenda that the will give Agra regional connectivity under UDAN scheme. But every winning election, they all disappear. Even proposed international airport has been shifted from Agra to Jevar near Noida because mostly BJP MPs MLAs have brought land in and around Noida.
