Udaigiri Caves

It looks like an ancient site of worship. A small hill and many cave temples carved around it. Most notable deities are Shiva and Vishnu. Images of Varah Avatar and Sleeping Vishnu are Astonishing. Irony is most spectacular attraction is missing - There is lost temple at the top of the hill. I was so much upset looking at it. We've had lost a great deal of our heritage.

It is a nice place very close to nature with lots and lots of trees and plants and rocks. Also you get to see rock caves which is an amazing experience.

This is a must visit place to get a feel of great Indian architecture, tradition and history. Some of the statues are almost 2000 years old and in a very good shape.

Historic Caves on Hindu and Jain Gods . Well maintained and not too much crowd. Visit this place having sufficient times.
