Golden Apple is a good name and nothing beyond. A leased operations site that has a manager who is extremely sensitive to requests beyond her staple offer. Property is situated at a great site offering good views, but is run like a Sainik School - a list of do’s and dont’s about every where around the property. The property expects to make money wherever possible - charge for cleaning clothes, for making tea in the room. One can use geysers between fixed times of the day and not between. Approach from the rooms to the dining hall is also adventurous for elderly if accompanying on your trip. We avoided stay on our return route.

One of the best hotel in Kalpa. One thing I like the most about the hotel is the view. The view is incredible. It’s look like an heaven. You can see the 360 view of kalpa from the hotel.

Very close to Suicide Point Kalpa, this is the second last hotel on the way out of Kalpa. They have clean big rooms with electrically heated blankets. Most rooms have full scape view of Kinner Kailash. Their manager is a trek guide and arranges climbs on nearby peaks. He is very cordial and their hospitality is excellent. Food served is toooo good and tasty. Car parking space and landscaped garden in front. Highly recommended in Kalpa.

I loved it, it's a old hotel, reflecting the nostalgia of the past. The hotel staff and owner are very friendly. Not an upmarket and posh place, but if you like simple and good people, this is the place! The highlight is the view of Kinnaur Kailash mountain range from the hotel which is fab
