Wake and bake is a hole in the wall place situated in one of the most iconic areas of Mall Road Shimla. The entrance is through a small inconspicuous stairway through which you emerge into this beautiful cozy cafe which has all the old world charm and manages to capture your attention immediately. I had the Israeli Breakfast with lemon iced tea and my wife had mushroom toasties with an apple cinnamon waffle and coffee. Everything starting from the beverages were exquisitely made with a homely touch which makes the experience here a unique one. This is a favourite haunt of ours and is a place I would recommend to all. The staff is helpful, jovial and sincere and make the experience here better by adding to it their own suggestions. Ricky was our server for the day and recommended some of their best food to us. Thank you wake and bake !

Went there with my girlfriend. We waited for almost 2 hours after placing our order. It was as if we had gone invisible to the staff. Too expensive i must say. Head straight to hide out cafe next to it for better service and more value for money food. Below average service. Highly disappointed. Please don't be misguided by the reviews. Most of them are from the cafe owner's known people who have zero dining experience and who haven't even sat in the cafe once.

Awesome ace for a quick bite...their main chicken dishes are heavenly. For desserts, try banofee pie and the apple pie. Seating could be improved but they've done the best with the space constraints. They have a small seating area on the terrace, the view and photos from there come out really nice.

Good cafe. Good food. Great sunset view. Good place for people visiting mall road to rest for a bit and enjoy drinks and food. Good place for smokers as they can lit a cigarette with a view and sip drink

Cafe is placed at a good location with decent food to offer. Don’t have enough seating space. Too crammed up. Good place for a small group of 2-3 only. Cannot accommodate large groups. Staff is just average with a need to learn professionalism. They either overlook the requests or manipulate the same for their benefits.
