Dear Shimla Manali Tourism Team,nnFirst of all I like to Thank you for your care and prompt response through out our tour. Your entire team (Shimla Manali Tourism) was very cordial.nnHowever, my entire family is extremely disappointed with the driver (Mr. Anil Sharma) assigned for our trip. Overall this person was very arrogant and was extremely non cooperative throughout the trip. Though after repeated Complaint raised by us to our team, he slightly changed his attitude in the middle of tour, but still that was not enough to be behaved with any Tourist.nnThat driver had lots of negative issues, out of which some issues I must need to mention. During entire trip he was engaged over phone during while driving. Under any circumstances, talking over phone during driving is not acceptable and he was doing the same during driving on hilly roads also. Due to talking over phone, he had very less concentration on driving and he drove extremely slow throughout the trip, which affected our tour plan severely. Only because of his slow driving, we were unable to visit Manikaran for which I was charged additional amount by you during booking of car. The day on which we were supposed to visit Manikaran, we started from Shimla at 7 am, but still he was unable to manage the time to visit Manikaran. Finally, at around 5 pm on that day, when we reached the diversion point towards Manikaran, he told us that he couldn't drive at night and if we still wanted to visit Manikaran then we would be required to stay there (at Manikaran) on that night, whereas we had booked our hotel at Manali for that night. Under such conditions, we had to drop our scheduled visit to Manikaran, though I had already paid extra for that visit.nnFurther, through out the entire trip, he continuously played the car music system at loud volume with regional songs irrespective of choice of Tourists. I had lots of previous experience of travelling long distance by car, but I never faced such driver who controls the car music system without consent of passengers. Those loud songs were a big headache to all of us during entire trip and made our trip miserable. During long drive, passengers on back seats usually takes rest/sleeps and we were travelling with one child with us who definitely needed rest during travel. But due to such loud volume of music system, none of us was able to take rest during travel any day.nnMoreover, when any Tourist visit some tourist places, they actually depend on driver for good foods and other facilities as tourists are not aware about those places. In all my past experiences, I found my drivers very helpful in this regard, but in this trip our driver was something different. We always need to have our foods as per his choice during travel. He always stopped at those food shops where he has some settings with the shop owners, but if we ask for some food as per our choice (which are generally available in that region), he just replied that he had no idea for such food options.nnI can write many more negative experiences with this driver during our trip, but not even getting any interest to think about them.nnI once again like to thank your entire team (specially to Jaginder ji) for your cooperation and I may suggest your organisation to my friends also, but at the end, I like to request you not to assign such drivers to any Tourist in future for these types of trips. These kind of drivers spoil the enjoyment of the Tourist. They just become a big headache to Tourist. So please avoid these types of arrogant drivers in future for any Tourist.nnOnly due to our bad experience with the driver (which was the major part of this trip), I am unable to rate this trip above 3 star.
