Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary is located approximately 48 km from Srinagar. Blessed with immense natural beauty, this paradise comprises species of flora and fauna, which unfortunately have now become endangered or almost extinct. The main attraction of the Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve is the presence of musk deer. Other animals to be sighted here are the brown bear, black bear, red fox and leopard amongst others.

A great place to visit.nMust visit in kashmir.nGulmarg is heaven on earth.nLooks more beautiful in winters during snowfall.nnApprox 60 kms from srinagar city

One of the best places to visit in kashmir especially in winter season.You can do lots of things here.Experience the majestic Gondola ride,do skiing,chill out in cosy hotels especially the Khyber Himalayan Resorts.Overall a very nice place.Do visit if possible.Thank You

The most scenic place ever i have seen in my life.Such a snowy place and that too with chilled wind and white snow covered bed.I enjoyed a lot at this place in snow(skiing, sledging) with my friends Umar and Tausif(both from Shopian) under the sun. Gulmarg seems to attract me once more and certainly i will try to come in summer with friends.Thank you.
