This trip was easily the trip of a lifetime for our family of four, and it will be quite some time before we stop talking about it!! We have a done a lot of travel with our children alongside us

Vishno Devi Shrine board is a worst trust ever.. they treat commoners as animals.. no hygiene, no proper stay facility, no management, rules are only for tourists.. if you know someone there u can get vip service, u can smoke, have tobacco or do anything but not as common public .. there are easy ways to get darshan but only if u have contacts..nFor darshan you r supposed to go barefooted but roads are not suitable for walking.. they will not entertain you if you go directly for dormitories or rooms even if they are empty.. there are huge lines for getting donated kambals(quilts) and then huge lines for submitting them back.. moreover the staff is the rudest ever.. it seems like they are distributing fortunes by distributing kambals.. they talk loose and can even fight with you..they have full authority to reject you or throw you out if they don't like you..you need to request and please them for getting donated kambals.. u can sleep anywhere on the roads, pavements, galleries, below the open sky, anywhere.. nobody is going to help you ..nnThere are 100s of things which I can mention here.. it's just our immense faith, love and devotion for mata Rani which makes millions of people to visit vaishno Devi but the so called shrine board never cares.. they have enough fund to do wonders but I am not sure what r they saving for.. atlest they can learn something from Tirupati balaji, shirdi..nJust initiate sewa among common public like at Gurdwaras..
