The institution is part of Satna Diocese. It is a CSN convent Cum formation houses. There is a big church in the premise called Chapal. Here there is a novitiate house. The students comes from different parts of India for their final formation. Satna diocese is having a hub of formation houses for priestly vocation and religious life. The late Bishop Mar Abraham paved its means to institute this and the other formation houses in and around Edessa, the pastoral Center and St.Ephrem's Catholic parish church. It's provincial control is from Allahabad.
