It's a short ride from shimoga city and the zoo is very well maintained.nThe best part is it's pleasant atmosphere. It's full of lush greens. If you accompany with your family, you gonna spend a great time here with kids.nThere are clean washrooms and a place to eat as well within the zoo entrance.

This place used to be awesome. Not anymore. Poorly maintained. Animals look weak. Park is so dangerous for kids with broken equipments. Hefty fees make no sense. No hygiene at all

Tigers n lions were in cage, felt like visited a big zoo in safari van that's it. Although it's good for those who haven't seen them. It's could be a nice one day picnic spot which includes park, children playing things.

Entry ticket is 40rs per/head Not at all good place .... Not maintained well at all... They have few animals... More of birds ...nnOnly think you can enjoy watching leopard and bear next to it....nGovt need to take care of this place and need to develop a lot...
