Must visit place in palakkad. A wonder walk away place in the center of a crowded town. It's so peaceful inside and refreshing.

Very spacious parking space available here. Parking fee only 20 rupees. We can sit there as a lot of trees there. Sitting places also there for people who want to sit there. We can enter directly to fort from parking space. So no need to walk more.

Old 2nd or 3rd century fort that changed hands numerous times over it's long history. It has a paved walkway around the fort popular with morning walkers. Free parking for about 50 cars.

The place being a bit over crowded the available parking is quite impressive. Yet if you are planning to visit the Fort in a bigger vehicle than a car between 10am and 2pm, its better that you dont even consider visiting.
