G H Raisoni College of Engg, Digdoh Hills, Nagpur is one of the best engg colleges in Nagpur. I did my BE (Mech) from this institution in 2004-2008. Pros - 1. Dedicated teaching staff, it is autonomous pvt engg college (though it was not autonomous when i did my engg) 2. Small campus so focused on academics 3. Many lecturers are very good in teaching 4. Ragging free atmosphere 5. If you study hard & get good grades then chances of getting selected in reputed MNC in campus job offers is high 6. I belong to Nagpur, so living and studying in same city was more comfortable. From home to college and then back to home. So, No food-studies-ragging related tension etc. 7. This is little funny - Bunks did happen Cons - Not many or major as such 1. Small campus, so little space to wander or for sports activities 2. Some lecturers who are good for nothing behave like dictators 3. Cramped parking space Overall I enjoyed my engineering college days. It was competitive yet relaxed atmosphere.

It's a good place to take a degree but if you want to learn something real then such a bad choice. Just like they say it teaches you everything except engineering!
