Quiet and beautiful place. It is a part of Dumna nature reserve. Deers, monkeys and various small animals, birds and reptiles can easily be sighted. If you are lucky, you might get to see leopards and crocodiles too.

The tallest waterfall of Orissa stateis located between the lush green forest at Nandapani in Sundergarh district. The horse tail type waterfall is the 12th highest waterfall of India with the total height of 801 ft. Khandadhar Falls is created by a perennial stream which flows here throughout the year,during monsoon season the falls become one of the glittering waterfall. The picturesque falls is surrounded by thick forest of kendu, kusum, sal, segun, mohua, palash and akashmoni trees.nnThis region is very rich in wide range of flora and fauna, the deep forest area is counted in wildlife sanctuaries. Khandadhar Falls is most popular waterfall in Orissa and falls under the major tourist attraction, another big attraction is the Hirakund Dam,one of the world’s longest earthen dam built across the Mahanadi River, is located about 60 Km from the Sundargarh.
