Ujjaini is managed by Madhya Pradesh Tourism department. Despite being government hotel, it was clean, hygienic well managed and located 2 Kms away from Mahakaleshwar temple. Rooms are comparatively spacious for the price. The only nagative side is the lack of staff even during peak time. There was only person to look after everything during breakfast. Parking is easily available and it's free. I highly recommend this hotel if your are traveling to Ujjain for Darshan.
MPT Ujjaini run by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism. We stay there for 1 night. Booked this from Goibibo and as shown in the pictures online the hotel is very impressive with huge parking area, smiling and welcoming reception, eye catching decoration of the lobby.. every thing after entering was perfect.nNow coming to the rooms large in size so that you can easily move inside. Rooms were clean with no bad order.nBut MPT has to look about there wash rooms they are not up to the level of the hotel standard they need some renovation work. Yes they are comfortable and clean in use and with no smell.nRoom service is not quick and attentive we ask for tea and they serve it in other room instead in our room. It happens some time never mind.nOverall the experience was good at MPT Ujjayini will go back and stay here.

It was very pleasant stay. Hotel staff ie very courteous, helpful. Premises and rooms are very clean. Service is excellent. Food was delicious. Location is also perfect, walkable from railway station.
