We went from Chennai to Mumbai with elders. Our baggage lock was found open upon receiving the bag and immediately reported to the office. One pair of light weight plastic shoes were missing. Upon weighing the baggage, authorities were not convinced that it was missing. They made us wait for almost an hour and paid 250 inr for the damaged lock. The person was so arrogant , that he was not handing over the cash to me in hand. He kept that on the desk and told me to take it, which I did not. Finally after a series of hot exchanges , he gave me the amount in hand. Airways makes money by all hooks and crooks- whenever it is favourable for them. But when a customer asks for his genuine claim, he’s mistreated. To be blunt- instead of earning money by deceiving people (well dressed- manner lesspeople) and accumulating wealth- people can sit on he road side and earn money with pride... Jet airways is one of the best airline in India.. I have travelled many times in jet airways both national and international, it provides good service to their customers. The quality of food is also good. Once I also got an upgrade from economy class to premier class in my international flight. Just I would suggest jet airways to provide charging point on the seat as jet screen consumes the battery of passengers personal devices..
