This is very old runway build during world war, during my childhood I seen Bullock cart racing over here. During 1973 one Hindi movie has came Yadoon ki baraat last flight seen picturized over here at that time a small single engine aircraft landed. Later some time it is use by food corporation of India to store rice.

Superb airstrip for General Aviation and overnight parking for Business jets. Must develop for General Aviation and regional feeder operations. Have done a few low passes. Clear approach and funnel on both sides.

I doubt if it's still in working condition, also don't think to get a permission for landing a private plane, because of BARC, the security is to be maintained and it cannot be open for public use....... but it will be great to have a airport here in Kalyan
