The place is located 5 hours drive from Imphal airport. The drive is extremely enjoyable with good roads and country side view. The people along the roads are very helpful and will also see local fruits stalls.nnThe google navigation doesnt show any roads till here but Black top road exist till here. The navigation will show you road till Chakpikarong.nnFrom Chakpikarong its a hilly ride for 45 minutes and it has amazing view. Monsoon season its not adviseable to drive along these roads on moto bike.nnThe place is extremely beautiful and these people belong to the Kuki tribe. The area doesnt have good mobile network except BSNL that too works on 2G mode. You will also see security personal along route specially Assam Rifles and their hospitaly is just awww. My bike got breakdown and they help me and my wife a lot.nnThe area dont have any hotel to stay but on request they can accomodate you. The area also dont have PHED water supply so its a tough life for them. Water source during monsoon is rain water harvesting and during dry season is river. This village has a primary school but no primary health centre.
