Madina Masjid, Laban Shillong

Situated at Laban of Shillong in the state of Meghalaya, Madina mosque is a rare kind of architectural marvel. It's a striking and glittering structure made of glass. It has a capacity of 2000 people and has a separate enclosure for women worshipers. The mosque also has a large garden of various plants. Over the years, the mosque has become a spiritual and tourists attraction.

A beautiful architecture.......must place to visit

Its all very well seeing photos, but this place is absolutely magnificent. The serenity and calmness is beyond words.nThe Masjid has a small open space for community interaction and I can imagine this to be an absolute hive during times like Ramadan iftar etc..nThey also have a school attached and it must be so nice for the students to have access to such facilities.
