Most of the trains in Lucknow Sultanpur route have stop here. This place is also famous for it's samosas. Station is generally clean.

Nice and clean railway station. And the samosas of this railway station are considered as the best samosas around this area. Almost all passenger, menu, mail/ express takes stop.

Lack basic amenities, there are no modern communication equipments, digital display, digital advertisement boards and lack women safety cell. Passenger could evade formal system due to many diverting routes are available at station. No hotels and restaurants, also lacks book shop and proper waiting room. So many important trains are not stopping there right now. Station lacks itinirary facilities. No food vending machines and shops are over there. Station has Samosa specific meal. Proper sanitation exists over there. Station has less human resource as per need specially to handle the crowd, having less security in the night. This is important industrial town of the Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh.

I have seen a appreciable improvement in cleanliness of railway stations, wherever I have travelled across India, under the leadership of honourable railway minister Sh. Piyush Goyal. Hope we would keep our city clean with the combined efforts of govt. and it's citizens & make India a better place to live in.
