It was such an exhilarating experience, so tranquil with the native flute music playing overhead. It was very informative and I FELT SO CLOSE TO MY ROOTS AND AT PEACE HERE. Wow! What a history lesson!!! This place is very interesting and educational all in one. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making us feel welcome and creating such an extraordinary exhibit for us to learn from. Go see it, you will not be disappointed.

Oldest inhabitants of the middle Colorado mountains and plains. The Ute indian history and handiwork were well described and exhibited. We spent about an hour watching a short video and after, reading and viewing the displays. We spent a half hour in the gift shop! The jewelry and bead work was eye-catching and fairly priced. I particularly looked at the books on folklore, stories and legends. I would recommend a visit.

Was a nice museum the outdoor walk by the river was beautiful. My kids loved going in and out of all the tepees.
