Went in, Stood at the desk watching employees on their phones not acknowledging me and I had to say “ Hey I’m here for a membership” finally someone came up and showed me I can do it online. REALLY! Do you not need memberships during Covid? Meh I’ll go somewhere else! Probably won’t get a response like most of your negative reviews, yeah I check. GOOD LUCK WITH YOU BUSINESS!

The place is very clean and everyone makes you feel welcome. I love that they open at 5 so I can go before work.

This review is purely concerning how Planet Fitness St Joseph chose to reopen following the virus: To preface, I understand that it states in each contract that you must cancel within 7 days of a billing date. However... I have not used their facilities since the outbreak, due to my family containing multiple high-risk individuals. I was charged a “non-negotiable” $21 for a membership I haven’t used and am still not able to use until the pandemic is deemed safe by health professionals. I also understand that the city council of St Joseph (save a few individuals who listen to their health care professionals) does not take the virus seriously, having just issued very lax “mask rules” for the city. I would have really appreciated support from Planet Fitness, given that I’ve been going there for 6 years. Sad to see corporate greed at large during a sensitive time for our nation. Needless to say, I had to cancel my 6-7 year old membership. I was told I would not be refunded for the charge I received this morning. Truly Disappointing.
