Adailkala Madha Church at Elakurichi is one of several shrines dedicated to Mother Mary, situated in a rural setting. It was started by Fr. Joseph Constantine Beschi S.J.(1711-1747) who is also known as Saint Veeramunivar. It is very popular among Roman Catholic pilgrims.
