VFS Global - Georgia Visa Application Centre India, Chennai

Visited this place for schengen visa. Proper parking facility is not available. If you park on the streets, police will come and fine the vehicles. Valet parking around Rs.100 per hour. So please use auto, cab , public transportation. Atmosphere inside the office is good. A strange thing is they don't accept plastic money :) , only cash !

Very worst ,...late service waste of my time

The staff in the counter shown very rude behaviour. Moreover, they didn't accept the application form filled via embassy website rather they have asked to refill the application once again ,this time they have ask to download the same application form from VFS.it is total waste of time and money. On top of that the VFS application form have some flaws to cross the box .

They don't provide parking space for visitors. Most of the people coming in bike and car pays hefty fine to police men, as they don't allow in the entire street. VFS office has plenty of parking space but they still don't allow parking for visitors.

Outdated ChecklistnnI attended the Chennai VFS Global centre for a Business Visa. I was informed that I have to have 3 years of Income Tax Returns and that the copy of both pages of Passport are needed. When I pointed out that the checklist said only 1 yr ITR and Passport Data page in A4 size (both of which I have provided), they showed me a new checklist.nnHow are we supposed to use the new checklist if it is only available at the office? Why does the appointment then come with the old checklist? No answers about that from the staff.nnI then had to spend money (Rs. 150 for 2 pages) to use VFS facilities to print out the Income Tax returns for the extra years.nnWhile the process itself is smooth and completed within 30 mins, the unnecessary panic caused at the moment of submitting the documents is unacceptable. It almost feels like people are forced to use travel agents to avoid these last minute hiccups and to extort some extra cash.
