Railway Station Velipalayam

A small station before Nagappattinam ( from karaikal to thanjavur ) . I used to choose this station to avoid stampede. Passenger trains only stops here.nnYou must get one vadaa plate ( at the first cut ) or paniyaram ( nearer entrance ) and spend your time till the train's arrival ( mostly late ) .nnLess tables to sit so we can sit on platform. A wayward station master welcomed me most of the time. Whatever my question he had one answer ' train is coming'. The next question of mine would get a gnash.nnThe opposite to the platform is totally rubbish with bushes. Pet lovers can adopt pet dogs. Lot of varieties roaming when you have snacks. Crows too.nnThanks to Benz for the happiest chats we spent Vel(l)ipalayam.

There is no maintenance at this station.. shelters are not there.. can improve
