Ramagundam

Ramagundam is like a small village due to the power plants nearby it's known to people, the climate is ok but It's too hot in summers. You get bored of this place because no entertainment is nearby to access.

I have been in Ramagundam for the past 7years and recently I moved from there.nRamagundam well know for its weather, I think you heard might heard in national news as well.nRecently news came yo for this place as world's most 32nd place in pollution and 2nd in Indian, the 1st place gone to Vishakapatnam.nThe rail transport is the way you can get, where you can go to Delhi and Chennai and Hyderabad.nLuckily almost all trains stop here.nThe site seeing comes like ASH POND the wastage of NTPC the thermal plant , whatever the coal being washed the left over comes to this place, however it is so photogenic view, where you can see the entire Ramagundam from the top of this hill. The pipeline directly connected from NTPC thermal to ASH POND.nIn this area its very hard to get daily needs. Of course only vegetables shop that too opens in the evening time.nThere are general kiranam shop for purchasing groceries. But for everything you need to go to Godavarikani which is almost 8kms from Ramagundam railway station.nNot much population in Ramagundam but in the recent past many North Indian came and settled as railway employees in railway colonies, most of them are loco pilots and C&W department employees.nThere is ROH shed just beside Ramagundam railway station almost 200 meters distance where they do overhaul of the wagons.nRoad transportation is from railway station to Godavarikani is always available through Auto taxis and bus service which is about 20rs per head.

You won't find much food item here. If travelling across the station better have food with you. Remaining services are descent.
