Hotel Icon Classic

Very bad experience with this hotel. The front office staff doesn’t have manners.I could find only one staff there at front office and for room services. He treated us very badly. He seems like very greedy. I will never suggest this hotel to anyone.

Room was ok. Not a big hotel, only few rooms and a not so often used restaurant (ordered boiled eggs, even though hot it was old). Car park not available. Location was great. The reception staff needs to be more professional. From his reluctance to leave the room(both guests were women), insightful views about how leaving the room door open will damage the AC (and there are strangers passing by) but him opening the window does not. Finally he left a piece of paper as the power key & the key was missing from the room. Went to ask at the reception, initially wanted to search the room, upon refusing immediately handed over the key. Another staff started laughing in the background. Asked for the complimentary water bottle, feigned ignorance then said would sent to the room. Refused the offer & took it myself. Room was spacious but only had an AC which is not sufficient ventilation for the room. Soap was there but lay open. A hotel with a lot of potential but alas.

Bad experience.Couldn't charge phone. No plug points!!!!!! No water bottle provided nor toiletries . Broken dustbins and unclean bathrooms. Room smelled very bad and need immediate maintenance.Sheets have not been changed for a long time. Rooms are nothing like shown in Google images and they accept only cash. On the plus side, Ac and hot water worked. Close to the railway station.
