This place is historically great and you can feel it as soon as you enter. You cannot be in a hurry in order to appreciate this place you have to read the background and feel it. As a tourist attraction, I have to say it's well maintained and clean. Not everyone will see or understand the significance of this place but if you know you will. If you don't know the history and background of it read it and then visit it otherwise it's just another old and broken building.

Residency is a place which is extremely clean, well maintained. Some people say this is a Haunted place.nWhich I can say looks little scary during day and even more scarier during dusk.nA place full of greenary and all the buildings are old constructed as per Britishers style.nYou have some weird constructions as well for few buildings, you have a small Masjid may be due to the fear of some negative energies around.nPlease do purchase tickets only from Archaeological site for not ending up paying more.nI must say one of the best places for Photography shoot.

Also called the Residency and the Residency Complex, the British Residency is a complex of buildings that once served as the residence of the British Resident General. Constructed in the last quarter of the 18th century, the place served home to over 3000 British residents during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Currently, the Residency is in ruins and is a protected monument under the Archeological survey of India.nnTimings: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm; every daynnEntry Fee: Free
