Need to improve a lot on setup. Like an escalator from paking to arrival terminal.

Super lot if space for parking

Clean airport with beautiful artwork depicting typical Kerala art and culture. Easy to navigate too. However, Covid procedures could have better signage asking us to provide the boarding pass or the e-pass or the health certificate at appropriate counters. People in queues did not follow the clear markings on the ground - nor did airport staff enforce physical distancing norms. Staff were friendly, helpful and multi lingual.

We flew out of Kannur to Goa on a Friday. The day is important because, despite it being a Friday evening, it was hardly crowded. Ours was the only flight at that time and since it was running only half its capacity, the airport was all the more deserted. Better to have ample time for security check, because even though the crowd is less, you need to declare almost all items except clothes for checking. I had to take out all my chargers, earphones, wallet (because there were coins in it).
