Had one family function there. It's a really nice place to have such functions...very spacious. Rooms are also large and well maintained. Roof space is also covered so can have parties during rainy season too.. easily accessible ud83dudc4d

The hotel has abolished their tie-up with OYO. If you book through the latter, your booking is plainly denied unless you pay the difference amount (vis-a-vis what you booked via OYO). This difference can even more than the price of the room. Be aware and call the hotel directly before booking via OYO.

Hotel Jay Continental is a decent place for tourists who have to stop in Almora for a day to take rest before heading toward their destination. The staff is well-mannered, the rooms are spacious and sober. The food might not be the best but because the restaurant and the hotel are not exclusive to each other, one always has an option of dining at nearby restaurants. The rooms are affordable.

Rooms were big, neat and the morning view from the balcony was amazing, and the food they served was delicious.
